With the leading technology turbo blower development used in sewage or waste water treatment and pure water treatment for air aeration, game rules has changed the traditional roots type blower leader AERZEN.
AERZEN acted immediately and bought technology from Korea turbo blower leader KTURBO and launched AERZEN turbo. However KTURBO owner is sentenced to prison in US because of KTURBO blower quality problem, which is really tough test for AERZEN.
AERZEN turbo (KTURBO) is half turbo strictly as air foil bearing is used and which still has friction, which will lead to easy broken and high maintenance expenditure (air foil bearing is the core of AERZEN turbo).
So magnetic levitation bearing technical route takes the lead, that is maglev centrifugal turbo blower, which adopt the leading technology of magnetic bearing technology; Magnetic bearing equipped turbo blower is completely friction free blower which has better performance in efficiency; At the initial times, there is concern that magnetic bearing is unstable as it's completely suspending, with the successful site application and excellent performance, it's not a problem.
And SKF purchased SM2 factory for magnetic bearing production, and more and more user realized that magnetic bearing equipped turbo blower has better performance and replace other types blower with magnetic bearing turbo blower.
This is what is happening especially in China market, since more and more magnetic bearing equipped turbo blower is used for sewage treatment plants in China, at least 3 China turbo blower supplier ( Huadong blower, CIGU, Yisheng ) has been leading the Chinese turbo blower market and replacing other roots type blower supplier to get more market share, Chinese domestic market has the trend to replace roots type blower by maglev centrifugal blower.
